What the paper covers

Develops a genetic identification approach for Oryctes rhinoceros nudivirus isolates. Comparing selected genome regions and sequencing amplified fragments helps distinguish isolates and provides tools for tracking virus identity in biocontrol research.

Read it in context

Identifying a virus isolate does not show that it will protect palms in the field. This is a methods study, not the South and Southeast Asian characterization paper named in the original faulty citation.
